The church, restructured starting from 1591, has a Latin cross plan with a square apse; it has three naves with a trussed roof; the salient façade is due to an eighteenth-century reconstruction. Inside there is the Madonna with Child and Saints Giacomo and Cristoforo by Bartolomeo della Gatta (around 1486).
On the back wall there is a seventeenth-century painting of the Florentine school depicting the Madonna del Rosario, surrounded by an imposing gilded wooden frame with an architectural prospect, with the stories of the Mysteries of the Rosary. Next to the church, the parsonage with a brick facade, oculus and signs of a portal, which suggest that there was the noble chapel of the Palazzo dei Priori, dating back to the 14th or 15th century.
