DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION
The central composition of the Pietà is surrounded by Saints Nicholas of Tolentino, Louis of Toulouse, George, James, and Monica.
The fresco displays a late Gothic style influenced by the perspective and volumetric innovations of masters such as Masolino, Masaccio, and Domenico Veneziano.
The painting is located on the left wall of the church, in the first bay, an area that also houses other fragments of 15th-century paintings.
