Built in the XVI-XVIII centuries, the Church of S. Martin Foiano is an imposing building, one of the largest churches in the Val di Chiana, located along the first wall of PAESA, with which it shares the material used for the construction, brick, constitutes one of the most characteristic corners of Old Town. The facade of the Collegiate is simple, perhaps incomplete, has two orders of pilasters and two linear frames, the rectangular portal is surmounted by an arched window and the masonry facings, allows you to see the other two portals provided and towel; laterally repeat the curvilinear used as buttresses. The church has a Latin cross, with the nave divided into three parts by ribs plastered. The transept has a vaulted ceiling to the two arms, joined by a small dome, and the apse has a vault. On either side of the nave there are six chapels with vaulted ceiling, are places where many stone altars. Top runs a cornice in the neoclassical style, which charged the large arch becomes the cornerstone of two large columns with capitals.
